Shooting
stars
The serene black beauty of the night
Penetrated deep down the heart creating
a vacuum.
Took me on an inner voyage,
I found myself standing on the edge of
an ocean watching shooting stars.
The quiescent beauty created emptiness,
Tears roll down my cheeks,
I wondered does God also cry,
Watching human suffering and misery.
There was brightness outside and
darkness inside
But wait a minute!
Hope arrives the moment
I made a wish to the falling stars
With a belief that my wish will be
granted as
Stars too know the pain of falling down.
